Grade 7 and 8 have been working on a Halloween/Fall inchies project which they are taking home to finish today. Each inchies or "twinchie" in this case is a mini 2" by 2" work of art. Combined they are even more impressive. Here are some examples of awesome work: Mr Chris was also thrilled with his Halloween Inchie project!

A farm scape seemed a more appropriate way to explore one point perspective. Using pumpkins, till lines and a building we tried to show a real sense of near and far. That we can use markers as paints is quite the discovery!The death of Gord Downie effected many of us as Canadians. Is his last year and a half of life he inspired, challenged and create change. Each students was able to describe what they created and why. Connections to the Tragically Hip and what it means to Canada were especially strong in Grade 6. |
