Every student expressed their gratitude though words and colour to create a feather.
Together these wings show how thoughts of gratitude help you to fly. We invite you fly higher with your Wings of Gratitude by taking a selfie . The art room has been rather stinky lately with the smell of glue as grade 6 worked on their gratitude bowls. Multiple layers of paper and a glue and water mixture were applied to a balloon to create a bowl shape.
After applying layers of tissue paper to the outside, the inside was painted. Students had prepared words and images of personal gratitude and decided how to best display these on their bowl. |
